For example it is very difficult to paint the figure if you don't understand the architecture of bone and muscle structure. Painting flora and fauna has never been easy for me so I have to pay special attention to their particular structure and detail. Knowing parts of the flower and their purpose adds knowledge which gives power and improves impact. It just isn't good enough to paint the objects surface! A good artist understands that you should never avoid "the difficult" and always strive to work towards your weakness.
